Well hello everyone!! Today I’m going to talk about what i think about youtube: I like youtube because it gives me access to a lot of interesting things, in this category I usually look for music videos, movies, funny videos, car accident videos, tutorials, and anime. I visit youtube almost every day, mainly to watch music videos from my favorites artists. I often click the button “I like it” and leave a comment in some videos to give my opinion.

when I was at school I had an account on youtube and upload funny videos of my classmates. Then I want to find those videos but I could not. certainly was so deplorable that removed jajaja.  I had videos of my friends singing, doing ridiculous, laughing, etc. Today these would be surely a nice memory videos. But I can not find!!

Well, today I have other account but is for have an account in google. And with this sometime I comment or make click on “I like it”.

Well, this is my situasion with this page youtube, I hope someday make interesting videos and that the people comment it. Make some like little movies or music videos, you know, make some experimental jaja

I hope you have some opinion more interesting about the videos on youtube, today I don’t have creative. I can not even think of one favorite that has to recommend, boring =( so sorry. See you! Bye!

Food and eating habits

Hello everyone. I’m going to talk about my personal eating habits or what I think about food in general.

Well, I don’t eat meet (chicken, beef, pig) just fish only occasionally. For this reason, I don’t go to fast food restaurants like McDonalds because all have meet, or if it’s necessary I eat french fries when I go with my friends but in general I don’t like this food much.  

For other hand, when I buy food like in a supermarket, I like to see the ingredients, it is not that interested me but it is more for curiosity; but sometime see ingredients to change my opinion with some food for example one day I see a soya yoghurt and I think “ooho that must so healthy” but looking at the ingredients I noticed that it have over twenty ingredients and all with estranges name!!

But the foods topic is delicate. I don’t agree with the extreme diet, when the problem is obesity I can understand but I know girls that make diet and they’re not fat!!  I prefer the physical exercises, it’s better, and so you enjoy the food. I like the sweet food like cake, ice cream (better if it’s of chocolates), etc. If I know that I'll die, I would eat sweet food, definitely. Or sushi, I love sushi!! But depend so much the place, there some place really bad, and for this the people is disappointed.

green person

Hello everyone

Today I’m going to talk about “how green I am”.

I am a person who likes to defend nature. When I was a child and up until today, I could not bear the person who ripped out the plants. And of course I protect all the animals, including the insects, like ants, spiders, moths, etc. I think I am the defender of everything jaja.

With respect to green things, I think I am a green person. I reuse paper, containers; I definitely do not throw anything that may have another use. I care for the water, lights (energy), etc.

I think it is very necessary to recycle, especially glass because the impact to nature is big.

I don’t participate in an organization but I think that you, with little things, can to make big changes: for example, you can decrease the time that you take to bathe, not letting things pinned you do not use, not leave connected the charger phone all day (like some people, grrrrr), OR do not having the laptop connected when it is fully charged!! I hate that!

Well, maybe don’t have directly relation with be a green person, but I like to think about the animal, for this reason I don’t eat meet, I don’t eat animals!! And I must confess it’s not easy but it’s an important sacrifice and this make me happy =D

Pets and animals

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk about animals and pets.

Well, definitely I consider myself an animal lover. Since child I care animals, inclusive I protect to insect until today. When I was a child I had a lot fish, a lot birds. A few years ago I had a couple of hamster and now I live with two dogs.

My dog names Axel. He is a brown cocker spanish and he is more ten years old. Yeah, he is very old but I think he is a healthy dog because he’s happy jaja. I love him so much and he’s like part of the family.

Since one years ago and until January (family matters), I live with my sister’s family and, of course, with her dog names Lucky. I love Lucky too, he’s a nice dog. He’s a white cocker spanish and he’s very playful, but with Axel fight and they must be kept separate.

Well sometime Lucky growls to people but in general he’s an obedient dog. But Axel is more temperamental, maybe his age jaja. He bit me in two opportunities but I must confess that I bothered him or when I clean him.

Obviously for my love to the animals I don’t understand the people that mistreat their pets, why have it! Or I don’t endure when the people leave animals in the street, it’s unfortunate.

The dog of the street make me feel very sad and I want to adopt it all!!

I love the animals and I hope that the people have more awareness.

Paul Klee

Hi everyone, Today I have to talk about a new concerning my career.

The article is about an artist: Paul Klee. And a posthumously exposition about his art. The exposition is 73 years after his dead and has more than 130 works between painting and drawing.  The event was at Tate Modern at UK. The exhibition was with special form and the gallery’s director, Chris Dercon thinks that the artist would have liked the exposition and maybe no museum did so before.

Klee numbered his work. For example all works in 1920; he added a number after year to know the order. 1920,2 is a work and after 1920,3 that is the next work. So in this gallery maintained order in 17 rooms and you can see the coherence like one just work. This system is wonderful for curators because Klee made many work in the same time.

The work come different museum or centres of arts of all world like Museum of Modern Art in New York and Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid.

Klee was an important and innovator artist of 20th-century. Since 1910s made his career in Germany, but he was born in Switzerland. During his artist life belonged to "Blue Rider" group and Bauhaus. He died in 1940 when he could not work more.

Anime!!

Hello everyone!

Today I’m going to talk about my favorite topic until now, anime. Since little girl I saw anime. I like too much and I see anime when I can. You can find a lot kind of anime, romantic, comedy, drama, science fiction, adventure, sport, inclusive erotic, so the anime is for all kind of public.

The first anime that I think I saw, it was Sailor Moon, a classic anime!

I saw and I liked Ranma 1/2, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Conan, Hunter X. This one, Hunter X is I liked more. The story is about a young boy named Gon, who search his father and for this he want to be a hunter, like his father. It’s an adventure story with many mysteries.

Now I see anime but with more mysteries, I think like that, but sometime I see comedy. About the mystery I see Ergo Proxy and Elfen Lied for example and about comedy I see School Rumble, all for internet.

I like anime because I think is more versatile and in internet there many kind, I mean about history but about the drawing too.

A Country I'd like to visit

Hello everyone!

Well, today I’m going to talk about a country I would like to visit but I haven’t had the possibilities because is very far away. This country is Holland. Since I was little girl I have felt attracted to this country because I knew that it’s ecology and the people is very respectful, liberal and relax. I was impressed to know that almost there not car, everyone ride bikes!

The predominant language spoken in Holland is Dutch and it’s a small country. Really Holland it’s not the name of country, but now is like normal, the real name of country is Netherlands. Holland is just a region.

Other thing that I know is Holland is famous for some particular aspects, especially tulips, windmills, clogs, cheese, picturesque facades and their thousands of channels.

The first thing that I would do is ride bike and go sightseeing everywhere or go on a boat through the channels. Obviously I’d go to museum and all old building like castle but I don’t think live in Holland because it’s very far away and I’d miss my family and friends so much. Maybe study but I don’t know Dutch…. Maybe just like tourist XD

My ideal job

Hello my followers, I’m back. It’s a new semester and for my first post I’m going to talk about my ideal job.

Well, this topic it’s very difficult for me, because I like many things about my career and I’m very undecided.

When I entered to university I thought be professor and teach about history and/or esthetic of arts to future artists, designers, architects, film directors, actors, etc. at some university. Teach for each area I’d afford to have a job varied, diverse, and entertaining but above all I’d be in constant knowledge. I consider it yet because it’s a job stable (I’m thinking in hours and salary), but I’d love to work in investigations too. This work can be very entertaining but also stressful (as I like) and despite it’s not stable, the reward is wonderful.

Well, who say that I can’t do both? For both are necessary study, study and study; for this reason I hope continue my studies. I like to learn, read, investigate for this I think that it’s possible work in something like that. =)

Blogging Experience

Hello everyone!

Well, this post is the last and I have to talk about my experience writing in this blog.

I liked to write in my blog because I feel that I helped, but say, for example, “I enjoy” is too much, you understand me? Because it was an obligation and sometime the obligation not always are funny.

Write in English was a new experience and a lot much if you think that is public.

I think about the advantages are obvious: think, write, opine, explain, argue, etc. in English helps to learn the language.

 On the other hand, the disadvantages… maybe in the beginning, it is not always easy manipulating a blog.

I consider that write about different topic was interesting because I like various. For example talk about art, music, movies. That is good for learn, talk about what we like.

What are my suggestions? All topics was about give an opinion, maybe if we can to talk “what we did last summer” or “what we want to be in the future”, help us exercise the grammatical tenses.

Well, I hope you liked my blog, I say goodbye and I hope to see you in the next semester, dear mates.

My favourite subject

Hello everyone!

Today I'd like to talk about my favourite subject this term: Restoration. In this class I have done many things despite the few classes. I like this class because I learn the theory and practice. I learn about Restoration history, techniques and we have restored ceramic, textile, paintings and in the future metal. I have learned conservation too. The conservation is important because avoid the restoration, that involves modifying the art piece.

The more difficult thing is restore ceramic, at least for me. Restore ceramic was the first practice class, but not only we needed one class, we needed, if I'm not mistaken, three classes. I carried a dish and my teacher broke it. I had to unite all the pieces and make a missing with gypsum and sand down and paint looking for the right color. Definitely for the restoration you need lots of patience, believe me!!

I like this class because among so much theory and history, it is good to have something practical to learn, not you think? It is a nice experience although I don’t know if I want to be a restorer.

Hello everyone!

 This post is about my opinion respect a video: Denis Dutton talks about “A Darwinian theory of beauty”. Here Dutton explains the theory that the reason that we find something beautiful is human evolution and not just the beauty is "in the eye of the beholder". He starts to talk that is complicate define why something is beauty because it’s things very different.

All the same, he points to the answer can be found in a Darwinian theory, evolution. He says that beauty is for adaptive effect and I consider that is true but I think that he leaves some things aside. Rather than argue against, because I think fifteen minutes is not enough, maybe he has many more tests, I will discuss with one example.

If the classic music is beauty, like Beethoven, why not all the people listen to? Why not all the people have to Beethoven in their favorite’s music? And I don’t tell Beethoven isn’t beauty music, but the question is interesting.

I really believe that his theory missing something else, but as I said, maybe fifteen minutes are not enough to say everything. I love, then, to read more about his theory in the future.

A great artist

   Hello, well today I’m going to talk about an artist, yeah!   Art.   THE TOPIC!

  

   But it is problem for me because I can’t have one favorite artist… for me all artists are important because they building the history, each one.

  

 Then I’m going to talk about an artist that I consider important because of change the manner to see the art. He was very relevant: he changed the art’s topics (along with other artists of the time as Millet and Daumier). I talk about Courbet.

   But for understand his importance, first remember the context. We remember that before art’s topics were about religion, mythology or historical events. Courbet saw the importance in the people, poor people, and their humility, work and their faith.

   In the time, the ordinary people is not sufficiently important for be in a painting, but Courbet changed that. For example, great topic then great painting. Courbet did big painting for the humility people, really big. That was really revolutionary and was the first step for change the art.

   Each artist is important or relevant for change something. Give one step like this, is always risky, not always understood. My favorite artists are, then, not understood because are visionary at the same time, like: David, Caravaggio, Goya, Cézanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Mondrian, Malevich, Duchamp, Magritte, Kahlo!, Pollock… seriously, I like many artists and I cannot downplay any!  Do not you think so?

Well, I hope you understand me. I like an artist because he changes something and when they become visionaries like Courbet. 

A photograph of my mother

Hello everyone!

Well, today I’m going to talk about a photograph (this topic I really like it).

In The photograph that I chose, you can see to my mother and I took it.

    I like this photo for two reasons. The first reason is because represents a stage in my live where I liked to be taking photographs everywhere. My camera was like a friend (but I had human friends, too OK?) and I feel so good like a photographer, really I thought that I could to make special and pretty things with a camera. Well… but those days are in the past (I cry) and I don’t know why  =(. All the same, it’s a nice memory.

    But there a second reason, because the picture is about my mother!  And I think that I managed to capture her personality: She is a little innocent sometimes, vulnerable, harmless. But she does not show her face, this mean for me that there decision.

On the other hand, it is unnecessary to say that it is photography very melancholic, I believe this represents us, to both, and for this I like so much.

And why not say it, she looks so small!  Like me!  It’s me!  it’s other interpretation?  In the picture, I see to myself? Physically and (obviously) psychologically? …Possibly maybe.

Well, I hope you liked my picture, it is truly important for me, for the two reasons… I hope write more often and comment and tell me your opinion about the photograph

The Correction

Hello everyone, today I'm going to correct a post of a classmate, Alejandra Castro: "My belove film".

Hello people! I will (I'm going to) continue with the topic of yesterday, specifically now I write (I'm going to write) about my favourite film in this (at the) moment. I like so many films, so I cannot say I have a (only one) favourite film because all depend of my emotional condition, but I can say “my favourite film right now”. Well,  I have watched this movie ten  times; really it is not bored to me. The name of this film is “Sympathy for lady vengeance ”  of the director  Park Chan-wook. It is a korean (Korean) movie of the year 2005 and it is the third installment in Park's The Vengeance Trilogy, following "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" (2002) and "Oldboy" (2003).  I like all this trilogy, but specially I love the scenes, the forefronts, the music, the sounds, the clothes, the colors, the drama and the end of "Lady Vengeance". That have many symbols and always you will watch something new (you can always see something new).  

The leading actress is Lee Young Ae, she performs as Lee Geum-ja a pure girl that fall (falls) in love of Mr. Baek a teacher of kindergarten that he is a paedophile and killer. The story starts when Lee Geum-ja outside of prison she look like a pure and sweet girl but the first reaction in the freedom was aggressive, cold and indiferent (indifferent). There begins the story that answers us because (why) she was to prison. She was a secondary student when she gets pregnant of Mr. Baek and she moves to live with him. A fatal day he killed a several children and he disappeared the dead bodies, the police discovered him, so Mr. Baek kidnapped and threatened to kill his own daugther (daughter) if Lee Geum-ja not blamed herself of the murder. After thirteen and half years she searchs the real killer to vengeance, besides she pretends to recover her daugher (daughter). That is the drama, the ways to vengeance are imposible to imagine, in the movie are pure art and with the music are perfects. Words that summarise their arguments are the guilty feeling, the impotence, the grudge and the justice.  A movie with accion (action), drama and suspense that you must to watch. Enjoy it! Until the next post."

Special movie for me

Well, today I’m going to talk about a film that I like. That movie is not my favorite because I don’t have one favorite movie, but this is the last I see and I liked so much.

This movie is “Melancholia” (2011).  That movie is drama with fiction, directed by Lars Von Trier and starring Kristen Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kiefer Sutherland.

Justine (Kristen Dunst) y Michael (Alexander Skarsgard) give a sumptuous party to celebrate their wedding at the home of the bride's sister (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and her husband John (Kiefer Sutherland), while a planet, called Melancholia, threat the Earth. It’s a movie with psychological and catastrophic elements.

The movie is divided in two parts. The first is called “Justine” and is about the protagonist and her marriage. Justine is a person really unpredictable and melancholic, she wasn’t motivated with her marriage and she finish for destroyed it. Nothing works at the party that her sister, with preoccupation and details everywhere (and a lots of money), prepared.

The second part is called “Claire” in reference to Justine’s sister. Here, there’s a Justine depressive, she unable even to bathe and eat herself; Claire help her. Meanwhile, Melancholia planet becomes visible in the sky as it approaches ever closer to Earth. Apparently the shock of planet Earth is imminent, and Claire becomes hysterical while Justine accepts the end resignedly.

I liked so much the movie, because the performances are very good and emotional. Besides, I think the plot is something that we identify in this time: “a possible end of the world”. Other movies respect end of the world have more action and there’s a hero; but in this movie, the end is something more especial and personal, respect every person, and that is make the protagonists think about yours relationship, limits, personalities and love.

Yeah, I know many people will laugh; this baldy has helped us once.

He is Darin McNabb and with his “Fonda Filosofica” in youtube, he teaches philosophy; esthetic and political philosophy.

Darin McNabb is a teacher of philosophy in Universidad de Veracruzana from Mexico, and with the idea of making his class more interactive, he began to make videos explaining different writers since Platon to Foucault.

In my first semester he was a big help with the text by Kant, in his video he explain the beauty and sublime. He helped me with Hegel, too. I see his videos about others topics and like he explain is really interactive and easy understand it.

I met him in youtube, I subscribed in his channel, but now he has one website.

He is a good person and concerned with all people and he answer all the question about philosophy.

His videos has been seen from more than 70 countries!

what is my favorite Singer?

It’s so obviously: Bjork.

     

                     She is a Singer and composer from Islandia. Her music is so difficult define because is very experimental and she mix a lot kind music for example classic music, electronic, jazz, pop, etc. Besides she use many instruments and voices; sound of nature, machine; knock, shout, etc. that is the reason her music is so different from a CD to another, some beautiful and emotive, and others with more action; some experimental and technologic, and other revolutionary. That is Bjork, for this reason I like her music; I hate the band or singer that all the music is the same.

                      I can not tell you what is my favorite song, it's difficult for me!!!! But, here I present a video, it’s funny and the song is special: There isn´t instrument, ONLY VOICES! Enjoy it!

My Autobiography

Hello everyone! today I talk about me, my life and my interests.
I was born on november 18 of 1989. I was born in Santiago of Chile. 
At present I live with my mom, my sister with her husband and children, Nicolas and Josefa. They are very stressful but I love them.
I studied graphic design after the school but then I change idea and now I'm study History of Art at Universidad de Chile, and I love it.
In summers I like to work. I have worked as a salesperson, cook and cashier.
Respect my interests, I like reading and writing, watching comedy series, movies and art and design programs. I also like to go swimming at the university pool but I can not always go.
